Mr Jones is a 59-year-old male who has recently completed a cycle ride for charity. He presents to his GP with complaints of dysuria and foul-smelling urine, as well as frequent urination but is only able to expel a small amount of urine at a time. Furthermore, he also reports lower back pain however, has not experienced any haematuria with urination, nausea/vomiting or a fever.
