- Access Appendix 1 and other relevant and associated material. Read, analyze, understand, and follow the protocol for producing an academic abstract and associated paper for consideration of possible future publication
- Identify, analyze, and summarise the contents of an appropriate technical topic which is the same as your PowerPoint presentation in assignment1 agreed with your tutor
- Produce a relevant abstract based on the chosen presentation. As guidance, the abstract should not exceed more than 300 words
- Develop an academic paper in which the content of the same presentation is explained in detail accurately, clearly, succinctly, and in a way that would be recognized as good professional practice. As guidance, the paper should not exceed more than 3,000 words.
- Make good use of academic referencing throughout the paper using the Harvard referencing style for all sources (see Cite Me I’m yours and other sources)
- For simulation purposes prepare the abstract and paper for submission as authentic documents. They should be word-processed, and written in the format as specified by the relevant guidelines
- Construct a recognized assignment format and submit the abstract and paper (together with their formats) within that overall format. The abstract and academic paper obviously form a substantial part of the assessment for the assignment
