You are required to write a report entitled ‘Understanding finance within organisations’. 

The report must be presented in THREE (3) sections.

A.    How finance function(s) operate

iii.  Examine the impact of financial objectives on decision-making within organizations (AC1.2)

B. Managing finance

To complete this section of the report you are required to use examples to:

i.    Analyse the impact of organizational and regulatory frameworks on an organization’s approach to financial management (AC1.4)

ii.   Analyse the challenges that organizations face accessing finance (AC1.5)

C. Budgetary control

To complete this section of the report you are required to use examples to:

i.    Differentiate between budget setting and financial forecasting (AC2.1)

ii.   Evaluate budget-setting approaches used by organizations (AC2.2)
