The objective of this unit is to help candidates assess and influence the management of equality and diversity law, legislation, and internal policies within their area of responsibility.

NOTE: An ILM Assessment Task offers candidates the opportunity to relate their learning directly to their current organisation. It is strongly recommended that candidates discuss the assignment with their line manager to identify how the task can support the needs of the employer while also evidencing the candidate’s learning for the completion of the ILM qualification.

If you are not currently employed within an organisation, you may complete the task in relation to any organisation you are familiar with, including any voluntary experience.

Nominal Word Count:
