In the current dynamic, competitive, and continuously evolving social structure era, learning at a constant pace has become a vital need to thrive in the era, both in personal and professional contexts. The educational journey, in this essence, is the crucial stage of learning in an individual’s life, providing lifelong theoretical knowledge and learnings, after which the individual gains significant practical experience during the placement or jobs.

In order to obtain more learning in the domain of teaching and student engagement, I have also taken part in a placement, which is a crucial learning opportunity for me to broaden my knowledge, fill skill gaps and gain pivotal practical experience of working. In this essence, the current report is produced to critically reflect my overall experience, knowledge, and learnings gained from the placement.

For reflecting on it, three broad aspects have been chosen to structure the report and shed crucial light on the overall experience and learnings gained. The three broad aspects chosen in this regard are the engagement of students in the learnings provided, teaching style, and assessment in education to highlight the organization of formative assessment and opportunities offered by it. A detailed reflection on all these aspects has been produced in support and arguing of the authors’ views available across the literary base.
