Topic: To promote environmentally sustainable economic activities and to meet the objectives of the European Green Deal for making EU climate neutral by 2050, the EU taxonomy for sustainable activities was established to clarify which investments are environmentally sustainable based on six environmental objects.

Through this initiative, as per the EU taxonomy regulation, all large companies and financial market participants operating in the EU will be required/ mandated to report their taxonomy alignment from 1st January 2023.

2. As a strategic management expert evaluate the opportunities and challenges for implementing the taxonomy guidelines in your organisation.

The first task is meant to assess your understanding of the interrelation between business and society, and your skills to critically articulate the challenges for promoting sustainable business practices.

The second task will assess your skills to understand the implication of the external environment (policies and regulations) and its effect for business organisations, and your skills as future managers to adapt to changing external environment.
